July Book of the month..

Sorry about the lack of posting. It is hard to keep up with stuff like this, but we will try and be better. :) So, we have chosen The Book Thief as the July book of the month. Bethie has been wanting to read this book for awhile now, so now is her chance...get busy girl!! lol
The Book Thief is about a 9 year old girl that goes to Germany to live with a foster family and she has just stolen her first book, even though she has not yet learned how to read. Her foster father uses the book to help put her to sleep when she has nightmares about her younger brothers death. Throughout the years, she steals more books and makes more friends.
I don't know much more about the book, so get busy reading and don't forget to share your thoughts! :)

I requested a copy of this book from my library, but it's not in right now. That sucks. I need another good book to read.

So, I just got done reading this while we were camping. OMG--it is so good. I cried more than once. I had no idea what this book was truly about. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but really.....you NEED to read this one.

Yes I am late It is December and I just finished reading this book. This really is a good book. I really enjoyed that death is the narrator, give the book a different twist. And like Shelly, there was more then one time I cried.
