November book of the month

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the time of year that we all take a small moment and be thankful for all that we have, we are choosing The Sunflower by Richard Paul Evans as the book of the month. Its about two girls who go to Peru on a group trip for charity. They work at an ophanage and meet someone who changes their lives.

Some of his books can be alittle boring to me....I don't know why but I really liked this book. It made me want to do something like that go to a different country and help just to be reminded as to what we have ourselves being born in the U.S.

I have this book, and I really enjoyed it. But I agree they can be a bit boring. I'm still waiting for the last book to become available at the library. Glad I've already read this one I guess. Maybe I'll read it again while I'm waiting.
