To go along with the Christmas Holiday, we have chosen The Tale of Despereaux for the month of December.
A very brave gentlemen mouse meets and instantly falls in love with a princess by the name of Pea. Pea gets kidnapped and Despereaux realizes that he is the only one that can rescue her, and that even the tiniest, cutest mouse can find the courage of a knight in shining armor.
This book will be a fast read and the movie comes out December 19, 2008.

I didn't know the movie was based on a book. It sounds cute! Are you reading it right now?
I (Bethie) am reading it right now. It is really a cute little story it goes fast. I haven't finished it yet. It is only 250 pages and there are pictures :) will go fast.
